Fair enough. The original is certainly showing its age now, but still worth a rental. Took me a few viewings to digest it. I see the DNC playing the Frank Sinatra role, in aggregate. I'm surprised Hollywood is remaking it — there's a certain irony considering the film's original history. But they can't seem to do much these days, aside from remaking the entire 60s-70s decades (Starsky & Hutch, Charlie's Angels, The (Horribly Poorly Re-Done) Avengers, S.W.A.T, Mod Squad,...

After you and I are well done decomposed dead, they'll make a movie out of the sundry and occasionally tedious postings on this thread and — people will buy it. How sad is that? <gg>
