even trent lott is on record saying he can't support no price controls on drugs anymore. Add that voice to McCain and other fiscal moderates and its a massive ship with rats flying off the sides. Whatever leadership is left in the republican party has disintegrated.

Whoever that senator was that said he was more outraged at the outrage over the prison abuse scandal did more damage than almost anything else towards republicans. Its just inhumane to be associated with these fools, really.
