Now, tell me, would we have been deterred from attacking his forces if, say, he decided to take over Saudi Arabia?

I daresay no US president would have amassed the kind of force we did to get Saddam out of Kuwait if Saddam was armed with nukes that would have had the capacity to obliterate such forces.

We would have been effectively deterred and Saddam would have had a free hand.
