HEADLINE: Old Iraq Army Could Provide A Leader, Jordan's King Says

BYLINE: By ALAN COWELL

DATELINE: SHUNEH, Jordan, May 17

<snip>

Earlier this year, Jordan said it had uncovered a terrorist plot to deploy suicide bombers using a mixture of dynamite and nerve agents. On Monday the king said investigations had uncovered 20 tons of the explosive mixture, made from agricultural chemicals in Jordan, which he said was to have been used by three suicide bombers from neighboring Syria.

<snip>

Which is what I keep telling ya'll. It's agricultural chemicals, not nerve gas. The early field tests indicated possible nerve gas, but lab tests ruled that out.

I am starting to wonder whether you are deliberately twisting this to suit your rhetorical purpose.

I hope not. Any advantage you gain is temporary, and ultimately works against you when the facts are known.

Nadine, you are talking as if we don't know anything. David Kay has concluded with great confidence that Iraq did not have WMD. Kay is a person who had staked his reputation on finding WMD; if he says they don't exist, I believe it.
