jim, Turner played Winspear/DeBeers like a fiddle and got exactly what he wanted...millionaire status and a big name. Mountain is a lot different...smaller resource, lower grade/value, totally different management and locked into a JV with DeBeers..... I suspect the Bottin Group as majority stockholder at close to 30% will have some effective leverage over DeBeers when and if it comes to a buyout.... the only leverage Mountain has is some mandatory disclosure agreements that are part of the JV, hopefully that forces DeBeers hand from time to time to give us a news release. in the meantime Mountain (Vandersande) is quiet as a mouse regards IR, PR, hype, promo, etc..... my opinions only and not worth much..... bears watching everyday.... regards
