Poet. You said....." I'm uncertain if you know what my political causes are, because I don't believe I have any, other than a love for my country and a desire for safety and happiness"....

My first impression of you comes from this statement from you and I have asked you if you thought this is a political statement. Now I could be mistaken about what you may have thought when you wrote this but you do refer to the " right " not the majority of people or the population or the citizens. You said the " right " like the right is to blame in some way.

You said...." their chest-beating and headlong rush to do precisely what al Qaeda wants is far more dangerous to the US's reputation, and ultimately to our safety as a nation, than the left's "......

And here you ridicule the " right " and favour the left so I ask you again do you consider this to be a political statement.?? looks like it to me.

...." Why the right can't see this mystifies me. Despite their claim of being "more patriotic than thou", their chest-beating and headlong rush to do precisely what al Qaeda wants is far more dangerous to the US's reputation, and ultimately to our safety as a nation, than the left's wish that there be a rapid end of the grisly business we've gotten into in Iraq.

And again I say there should be NO left or right in this war against islam terrorism.

Consider what you say here.

Do you really believe that al kida wanted the USA to bomb the crap out of Afghanistan and remove the taliban which supported them?

Do you really believe that al kida wanted the USA to form a coalition of 90 countries to fight them world wide?

Do you really think that al kida wanted the USA to get the coalition of countries to cut off their supply of money where ever they can.?

Do you really think al kida wanted the USA to bring the fight to them in their own land?

I sort of think that the Bush administration did what al kida never thought they would do. They had been use to the USA not really doing very much about their crimes and I think they expected much of the same.
