Why? You didn't think the author was talking about the IDF and not the Israelis in general. I thought it was clear from the context that we were not talking about innocent bystanders and other people not actively involved in conflict. Remember, I judge individuals by their individual volitional actions, I don't like lumping people into racial or ethnic categories. Remember, I make fun of people who talk about "the joooos" and "the eeeeevil mooooslims."
