But if Israelis aren't ready to give up, they are asking themselves the question: What is this conflict turning us into? And they're worried about the answer. Those were his words. Claiming that they only apply to the active IDF is a lame argument, counselor. The real question is not 'why are Israelis held to higher standards than Hamas?' but "how did it happen that Hamas is now held only to the standards of Hamas" - in short, Hamas' massacres of the innocents are widely accepted. BTW, for once the IDF managed to persuade a BBC reporter to embed with them, and he produced a good report.
