OR,

re: We could not unless we wanted to ignore Pakistan who would not give us permission to operate on their side.

What part of this should we have ignored and done differently?

Now you tough guys are allowing Pakistan to determine our policy? Remember the "... and any nation that harbors terrorists is to be considered..."? Pakistan, the nuclear supermarket to the world?

We should have stormed through Afghanistan and Pakistan with whatever forces it took. This should have been over 1 1/2 years ago. And our troops should be home.

Instead we send 130,000 troops to Iraq where bin Laden isn't, and we keep a small force in Afghanistan doing mostly social work and nation building.

The neo's used 9/11 to promote a different agenda. It has to be obvious to everyone.
