Just got back from Green Turtle Cay, a three mile long island off Abaco in the Bahamas. You can only get there by taking a little prop plane to Abaco and then a water taxi accross. Very nice little island with a world class
"boutique" hotel/yatch club. Took a walk in the cemetery
of the island settlement (New Plymouth). Almost everyone
buried there died in their 90's and even 100's. Being a bank president I was naturally attracted to the only bank
in the settlement. It is now obvious to me why people there
live so long and us, in the "civilized" world die so young.
Here is the bank working schedule:
Monday- 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday- Closed
Wednesday-Closed
Thursday- 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Friday- Closed
Saturday- Closed
Sunday- Closed
Food for thought. I second pbull's suggestion to go out and
leave the market on to it's own crazy pace.
Pedro

<<Yes. Closed on Memorial Day. Do yourself a favor and go on a canoe trip, or explore a state park you haven't seen before. The market will still be here when you get back.>>

LOL, when I asked if market was open on monday/memorial day, I got my calendar confused and thought this past monday was the 31st <g>
