A little test of what this looks like today in Florida:

REUTERS Florida Gas issues overage alert due to heat

NEW YORK, May 27 (Reuters) - Florida Gas Transmission said
Thursday it issued an overage alert day due to rising
temperatures in the state.

Alerts, also called critical days, require natural gas
shippers to carefully adhere to scheduled quantities to
maintain system integrity. An overage alert day signals that
taking excess quantities offline would be harmful.

Florida Gas said it was issuing an overage alert day for
Thursday at 25 percent tolerance, meaning that shippers must
stay within 25 percent of their scheduled volumes.

The company has issued several overage alerts this week as
temperatures in the state have reached into the 90s Fahrenheit
with little or no rain, boosting gas and power demand as
customers crank up their air conditioners.

The 5,000-mile Florida Gas Transmission pipeline extends
from south Texas to south Florida with a mainline capacity of
2.1 billion cubic feet per day.

The line is owned by El Paso Corp. <EP.N> unit Southern
Natural and bankrupt Enron Corp.'s <ENRNQ.PK> pipeline holding
company CrossCountry Energy LLC.
