>>Edwards and Kerry have the exact same positions on every issue

Gee, NAFTA comes to mind. Kerry voted for it. Edwards said he would not have voted for it

His voting patterns changed a dozen years ago.

Are you saying that kerry's voting positions changed as of 1992? How did they change? Did he start voting as a liberal in 1992?

Latest polls are looking good for Kerry. He has small leads in PA and IA. A recent poll even had him ahead in MO. I heard Bush was campaigning in TN today? TN?!? Shouldn't that be safe for him. If Kerry picks Edwards, I wouldn't be at all surprised if TN, NC, LA and even GA suddenly became competitive. Perhaps even VA. VA seems like it's losing some of it's conservatism lately. Perhaps Edwards can make it competitive. WV is the one anomoly. It might just go for Bush again. I think concerns about coal and social issues are keeping WV in the Bush column.

I don't agree and an individual right to the ownership of firearms is one issue where Edwards is ahead of Kerry. Kerry is rabid anti-rights based on all his votes going back forever. Kerry says, "I believe in the 2nd Amendment" but he doesn't tell you he believes it protects Federal National Guards in the States NOT somebody owning a rifle for self defense from any threat. Kerry believes that the 2nd Amendment is for hunters only and its a priveledge given by government that can be revoked, rather the RIGHT it truely was that CANNOT be revoked. The Nazis were the first to use the "Sporting Purpose" metric in 1938 laws. Thats a Nazi policy that the anti-gunners use today. Its seems to me anybody that likes any Nazi policies is a Nazi. Sporting purpose is not in the 2nd Amendment or in any State constitutions. The 2nd Amendment specifically authorizes MILITIA weapons..thats military style weapons. One way to the priveledge restored to a right, and I'd love to see this happen, is everybody refuse to volunteer for military service until the right is restored or file for conscientious objector status.

Don't believe the rightwing BS that Kerry is "the most liberal". His voting patterns changed a dozen years ago.

He has a 93% lifetime score from the ADA. He had a 95% ADS score in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, and again 1999, a 90% score in 2000, a 95% score in 2001, and 85% in 2002 and 2003. If he changed a dozen years ago what was he a conservative before that?

Edwards had a 65% in 2003 and 70% in 2002.
