Well said. Isn't it ironic that "conservative" don't want to "conserve energy" they just want to create more. Very confusing.

Promoting strategies to conserve energy and rid ourselves of oil dependency will have little effect on ME policy or terrorism over the couple of years. Proposing solutions which take decades to solve problems that exist today falls into the category of useless rhetoric.

Kerry has been in the senate for 20 years and has never proposed a single piece of legislation designed to kick our ME oil habit. What makes you think he'll do it now?
