Please.. I'm waiting for ANYONE, including you, to tell us how we're supposed to create change in societies where entire societies are terrorized, brutalized, exploited, and deprived of any ability to even ponder the concept of freedom, let alone the will to fight for it..

Damn Hawk, you'd think YOUR OWN questions would educate you through the Socratic method of learning, but you never seem to get it. I'll bend the rules a little and just tell you; the answer to the question of how we're supposed to create change in societies where entire societies are terrorized, brutalized, exploited, and deprived of any ability to even ponder the concept of freedom, let alone the will to fight for it.. is simply that WE'RE not supposed to create change in those kind of societies. If we try to change THEIR societies, WE become the problem. All WE can do is to HELP them IF THEY ASK and then LEAVE when they ask.

There may be time when their society, their culture and their circumstances evolve and they are ready for our system of government, or simply a different one that's more enlightened in their eyes. When that happens it will happen, but it won't happen because we suddenly decide to do missionary work and remake their mores, their laws, their religious tenets or their culture.

Our bees cannot go into their hive and survive, much less "remake" their hive. People are more like insects, animals and ancient tribes than you seem to realize when it comes to foreign intrusions. You should have learned that by now, if you didn't you should be learning it now.
