I reported the truth --- that you used the word "force". BTW, you enjoy making mountains out of molehills, don't you. As if folks care a hill of beans about you or I wrote! BTW, remembering that you wrote that post two months ago was no big deal. It was easy to pick out because there are not many posters on this thread. Also there is a search function on SI that could be used to trace past posts quite easily. As far as some, if not all, US personnel in Iraq and myself am concerned, there are terrorists in Iraq, and terrorists among the prisoners. It is odd that you don't see that to be fact. Maybe you are just pretending ......? Because of the general belief that terrorists lurk in every nook and cranny in Iraq, I am not in the least surprised that force was used on the prisoners. But the US personnel that dealt with the prisoners disgraced themselves and their country by advertising what they did. What was to have been a solution backfired big time! What are my thoughts on the matter? Treat the prisoners with a modicum of respect according to the Geneva Convention. Recognize the prisoners' rights as fellow human beings. The West has brought a lot of problems on itself as a consequence of not respecting the rights of others and ever acting as though it could always get away with impunity for any injustice perpetrated on others. The history of the world is replete with numerous instances of this sort of thing.
