The terrorist activities in Saudi Arabia will require them to think far more seriously about defense, as we did after 911.

It is also an indication the GWB was 100% right that significant action was needed to eliminate terrorists since the action now occurring in SA was proposed by OBL long before the year 2001.

Perhaps it was a bit unfair to carry the fight to the ME and distract the terrorists from further attacks here, but it was and is "their" guys causing the problems.

And finally the West and East can find some small common cause in the fight regardless of religions.

<<< When they expose Waco ideas, such as religious nutiness, it's scary to those of us who don't believe in crusades, Armageddon, Jihad and the rapture.>>>

Of course I don't get it and maybe you can explain it to me.

It seems to me all true believers should believe in separation of church and state.

Here in the US, church attendance is extraordinarily high. Higher than many of the states with a state sponsored religion. The reason for that, I guess, is because here you are not forced to believe by the state or the people surrounding where you live - you come to it upon your own conviction.

I wonder why the religious folks want to change that. Why don't they just spread the word and preach to their hearts content as the law guarantees that freedom. If the audience do not accept their teachings and commits offense to God, God will provide ultimate justice. Why do some of "the true believers" want to employ double jeopardy - and provide also punishment here on earth.

Further, there is nothing in the biography of Jesus Christ that indicated or even remotely suggested that you should go kill your neighbors or enemies in his name. To be sure there are vague references in the Bible or the writings of a few Theologians that suggest that under very stringent conditions, you could use force to protect yourself. Why not just let the secular state provide national defense and keep God out of that.

But for everyone of those references , there are....ahh, but what is the use.....
