That's a scary situation for the Italians.

World politics are getting to be more about money than democracy. Everywhere you look there's a green path that leads to billions.

Each country is not big enough to glean the billions...........it's necessary to become global in order to get the great big money. Berlusconi may be auditioning for the Carlyle Group type connections he needs to become a trillionaire.

Meanwhile, the little guys pay for their ambitions in lives and taxes.

Privatized the profits and socialize the cost.
