If the "mainstream" press were not so liberal biased, there wouldn't be such a market for things like conservative talk radio.

Actually I dispute this a little. I was listening to air america recently until I figured out that Bush is likely to lose. As soon as I determined Bush is out (just my opinion) I don't want to listen to angry talk radio anymore even if it is liberal and I don't like Bush.

I think the reason angry talk radio exists is to placate the "have nots" in the country who are always angry about not getting their way. This can be the red or blue states but is usually the red states because they are not as economically powerful as the blue states. When the blue state people feel "dumped on" ala Bush, where their concerns are ignored and they are ripped off, voila here comes Air America radio.

Its just that the liberal states USUALLY dominate elections so we don't have much to get angry about. Being on the outside is why talk radio exists. It has nothing to do with media, it has to do with anger and envy.
