Taiwan's TSMC buys equipment from Tokyo Electron, Applied Materials <<TAIPEI, Jun 01, 2004 (AFX-ASIA via COMTEX) -- Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd (2330.TW), the world's largest wafer foundry, said it purchased 11 sets of equipment worth 580.71 mln twd from Tokyo Electron Ltd during May 28-31. It also bought six sets of equipment for a total of 550.82 mln twd from Applied Materials Asia/Pacific Ltd during May 21-31, a company statement said.>>
