I have grown to be so jaded and cynical, having been disciplined by the "real" markets regardless of fundamentals, that my views on the printing of money is that nobody cares, and those who do, don't count. How long can this go on? The answer seems to be as long as no one blows the whistle. Sort of like the Iraqi tortures, it goes on until the NY times exposes it. Like the Iraqi tortures, there seems to be a conspiracy of silence in regards to monetary fundamentals.

The US dollar is floating on righteous hot air, held aloft by not only the US FED reserve BS, but helped enormously by every nation on earth. So, making money out of thin air is the most profitable enterprise on the face of the earth.....why stop now?

I read that safehaven report last week. My immediate thought was that if the big boys weren't concerned, if no alarm is raised by international banks....it just doesn't matter. So, gold will not go to the moon on this news.

I do hold some gold, and invest in gold mining companies. But I am not holding because I believe any particular future forecast for the POG, rather for its present value.
