If Bush withdrew from Iraq tomorrow, went to the UN and said he'd been completely wrong to invade, signed a new arms reduction deal with Russia, repealed his tax cuts for the rich, reversed all his enviornmental damage, fired all the neocons and begged the forgiveness of the American people, I'd know he was just doing it to get re-selected, and would renig if he was.

"Kerry can do better in every department,"

It is always possible - but you currently have no idea whether he would or would not. To the extent you claim to know kerry - I submit you do not - especially if you are not from MA.

I have come to see a new character on the national political scene. I see this new character as a candidate who curses his protectors. I see a candiate who if nothing else manipulated his service beyond what it was. I see a candidate who moved his positions under pressure from Dean.

I see a candidate who I have no idea what he would do. My belief is he would move left if left to his own devices.
