You just became my hero. If you know this, and I know this...and in fact probably everybody who has posted on this thread so far knows this, then why are we all so angry at each other?

Anybody who is willing to run for high-office, especially the presidency, subjecting themselves and their family to the partisan politics, self-serving special-interests, and the unscrupulous media is, by their very nature, a person lacking the moral character to hold high-office and lead the entire electorate, political ideology notwithstanding. The real question is, what is it going to take to change it? The current path can't lead anywhere good. <further_affiant_sayeth_not>
