I understand what you are saying. I believe the average is 10,000 Americans die everyday.

I wasn't thinking about the money so much as the social status.

I actually was trying to frame another question...not that it is appropriate here, but I wonder if there is an education or other rational reason why the poor get 90% (estimated...not my number) of these procedures.

Ahem..... Folks who die from the flu don't choose to get
the flu & then die. The same goes for deaths from car
accidents & every other weak comparison you listed.

Folks who choose partial birth abortions, they make a
conscious decision to terminate a child that, in many/most
cases is inches from a successful, live birth.
