Once a saliva cell has been gestated for 4 months it would be exactly like any other 4 month fetus.

You really don't believe that do you? Adult cells are certainly different from fetus cells. Why do you think they want to harvest aborted cells for research....the stem cells.

Those bunches of cells are all potential people. Your spit is not a potential person.

I don't have a problem with things like the 'day after pill' (ru486), and I can tolerate early term abortions to keep people from doing it in back alleys.

However, anyone that supports an abortion past the first trimester is just sick though. Especially the partial birth ones. Just barbaric.

Any cell reproduced from a human is a human individual.

No.

The current cloning techniques are not perfect, but they will get better in time. Even in the current form they could likely produce a fully fertile and functioning adult from a spit cell.

Cloning would be changing the cell in the saliva in to something different then what it currently is. You can't just take a epithelial cell that was floating in saliva, place it in a womb or other relatively controlled environment, provide it with food and water, wait a few months and get a baby.
