As I said, it's all a matter of the proper environment.
The current cloning techniques are not perfect, but they will get better in time. Even in the current form they could likely produce a fully fertile and functioning adult from a spit cell.


Left to it's own devices, your spit would evaporate. Left to it's own devices, a fetus would become a human, with a mind, soul, and their own life. Your comparison is not apples and apples, and it's intellectually dishonest to cast it so.
