Bush sat there for something like 30 minutes while the first WTC tower was burning and hundreds were dying. He read some kind of Porky Pig story to kids with a calm straight face as if nothing was wrong and he had all the time in the world. After the second tower was hit, an aide finally came and whispered in his ear. He calmly left the room. Amazing huh? Who as in charge of the government while Bush was reading? Could the 2nd and 3rd hijacked jets have been shot down if Bush had acted? And why was Bush joking around right before he addressed the nation? The answers may be in Moore's film so it's important. If there isn't a good explanation, Bush deserves the boot even from his rightwing base.
