You've written of your contacts and communications with the Kerry campaign and with Kerry himself. Yet you say, I don't represent a party,.

Reagan was also standing up to the Soviet Union as JFK did. Bush Jr. chose to stand up to the UN and Europeans, our own allies,

Those with good memories will recall that many in Europe and most American liberals also considered Reagan a reckless "cowboy". They said Reagan was a simpleton. They fought against his defense policies by advancing the nuclear freeze movement and opposing the stationing of intermediate range nuclear missiles in Europe. Our "ally" France even refused the US overflight permission when he bombed Libya in retaliation for Libyan sponsorship of terror attacks on our personnel in Europe.

Yesterday I heard Dan Rather praising Ronald Reagan on the radio. He credited him with rebuilding America's military and bringing down the Soviet Union. I recall Sam Donaldson said something similar not too long ago. I wouldn't be surprised if 30 years from now we'll hear similar re-evaluations of George Bush.
