All you Bush haters will like this!

If you add up the name 'George Bush' in Hebrew letters it comes out:

G = 3 (gimel)
e = 5 (heh)
o = 70 (ayin)
r = 200 (resh)
g = 3 (gimel)
e = 5 (heh)
B = 2 (beth)
u = 70 (ayin)
s = 300 (shin)
h = 8 (cheth)
total = 666 (Antichrist)

90% of the budget was spent on defense during WW2.

Currently, only 20% of the budget is spent on defense.

Where is the "sacrifice" on the non-defense portion
of federal outlays?

Revenues from individual income taxes as a % of GDP
are roughly the same today as they were during WW2
(about 8% of GDP).

Are you suggesting that we need to be taxed *MORE*
than we were taxed during WW2 to fight the Iraq War?

Also, do you ever stop and think about
why those 90+% top marginal rates during WW2 were
not any more effective at actually raising revenue
(measured as a % of GDP) than today's much lower
top marginal rates?
