anybody who puts the concept of lying about sex in the same league as lying that causes the death of thousands of people needs their head examined, seriously. There are obviously some right wing nuts still fixated on Clintons sex life but fortunately the rest of the country is way beyond that.

I only name-call those who ask for it. Your attack on me was not only dishonest, it was ignorant. The political ramifications of Reagan's death are all over the airwaves and fair game for discussion. I have a perfect right to bring it up.

All you can do is try to define me as some kind of un-patriotic leftist, which I am certainly not. I spent much too long fighting off the Deanies and Naderites to put up with that.

I am against right-wingers and left-wingers having too much power. Clearly now the Bush-Delay-Cheney-Halliburton rightwing is a much greater threat to our future, so I've focused on them.

Conservatives used to command respect but now many have morphed into corrupt, dishonest BS artists. In this White Hoiuse, nobody is accountable for anything and nobody feels they ever need to tell the truth. In fact you get fired for telling the truth.

The bad example is set at the top, with Bush and Cheney, the two most dishonest leaders we have ever had. They have greatly enriched the oil business but most Americans have really paid the price for letting these stinkers into power, especialy with fellow corrupt Texan, Pork Barrel Delay in charge of the congress. It was a extremist rightwing coup d'etat, a huge ripoff scheme and it has to be reversed. You should join us instead of defending those stinkers.

such language AS uses [being a Kerry supporter and all]

AS is lashing out, worried that the death of Ronald Reagan and all the press hailing him as a great Republican President will rub off on President Bush and turn the tide in what was stacking up to be a very close election

and it may well due exactly that, hence AS's loss of control

The big lies:

Speaking of lies, how about these three:

"I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinskey."

"I did not inhale."

"That depends on what the definition of 'is' is"

The first one is not a lie. Clinton did not engage in coitus with Ms. Lewinsky. No penetration, no sex.

The second one is only a lie if you can prove it to be a lie, otherwise your "lie" is simply a lie in and of itself. Now who really cares if he inhaled or not?

The third one is not a lie. It's a statement of clarification.

These so called lies pale in comparison to Bush's lies:

The big lies from the Bushies are legion. A new report from Kay shows no WMD's. Thereofre, the whole basis for the war was either a big lie or complete and utter ineptitude, take your pick. But even in that case, deliberate lies have been told, not just about the war but a plethora of important policies. Like the cost of the Medicare bill, the environment and pollution, gas gouging and the energy crises, the funding of No Child Left Behind and of course every single one of the Bush TV ads attacking Kerry.
