Searle, that last post makes you wonder what do they indeed care about. I think you are wrong. They do care...a little anyway. Why? Because they have to keep up pretences, and so they have to at least pretend to care, pretend to be frugal, even if they care less.

Of course the paper dollar is BOSS, and they will do whatever they must to keep it that way. The US dollar is the strength behind the US and world's economic system.

Lucky U.S. Only they can print dollars, the rest of the world has to produce something to get some. The best damn con game ever conceived.

I know they care because otherwise, why all the B.S.?

Searle, for once I can say unequivocally that you are blatantly wrong....on every point....I thought previously you gave some good & reasoned arguments, but this!?....
your entire storyline is unworthy of you....it reeks of fatalism, surrendering your soul to the state....if & when things get that bad I won't stay around....nor any of my family, to be grist for the mill....no thanks, I'll take hope over despair, as long as there is a reasoned hope......& there is!....thank God, there is!....
