It does not take any special knowledge to know that rates will gradually increase as the economy recovers; that is perfectly normal. I take exception to your use of the word "soar". Furthermore, foreign investors know that the U.S. is still the safest place to invest their capital. You do, however, raise a legitimate concern about the U.S. dollar. Still I think the Adm & the Fed Reserve will overcome this challenge in due time. If world events such as another 9/11 occur, all bets are off and we can re-assess at that time.
