When you have the press talk up Reagan. don't you think the people would like to place the current President who like Reagan is from the Republican party and compare him to Reagan? Do you seriously tink that Bush will survive that comparison with Reagan? There are people from the Republican party who are already planning either to stay at home or not vote for Bush. Now with people placing Reagan next to Bush, it wil reinforce their opinion that Bush is no Reagan. It will reinforce the image that Reagan was a world leader who elevated US pride around the world while Bush made us a laughing stock and could not even get the needed 9 votes in the Security Council for attacking Iraq.
