rant on/It looks as though the USA thinks the UN has some purpose despite the whining like a fleet of 747s from various proponents of the Arabian Nights dog eat dog, red in tooth and claw, anarchistic way of running the world. Plenty of whom are USA citizens and some of whom are SI FADG denizens.

Osama and his ilk do not like the UN. It's funny to think that many USA people and Osama have so much in common.

When one is in strong agreement with one's purported evil enemies, one should examine one's premises.

If USA citizens were to forget the PNAC Rule the World ideal, where we foreigners have no rights, being designated as subhuman via Presidential Decree, and get with the programme, they'd be less likely to end up with nukes going off in Main Street in conflict with others as to who also want to be The Boss. Osama and Islamic Jihad are vying for power with the USA.

Getting the rest of the world on their side is vital for either of them to win. With resolution 1546, Osama just lost a round because the USA got the rest of the world [more or less] on their side. It's the USA's game to lose.

The UN is the solution and is NOT what is wrong with the world. [Apologies to Donald Rumsfeld]/rant off.

Does this mean the UN is not irrelevant?

Will congress, once again, call them French Fries?

Is old Europe just Europe now?
