Reagan was governor of California for a long time before he was elected prez. That is a very big complicated job unlike the mostly ceremonial post of Gov of Texas. Nobody in their right mind accused Reagan of being a simpleton. I know I never did. Did you? Do you know anyone who did? If so, they were idiots. Gw Bush is not Reagan, if that's what you're implying. Reagan is head and shoulders above Bush. Not even in the same league. Bush is more like Dan Quayle. Very similar.
