Hawk, if the USA had been more forceful in backing Britain in the years before Hitler's invasion of Poland etc, rather than waiting until Japan had attacked, he'd have been dissuaded. Probably not, as he was a megalomaniac on steroids! But it would have been a good idea and might have saved many millions of people.

Rant on, Hawk. My impression of you is that you are a perfect exemplar of conservative "facts and logic", never to be confused with the conventional version. The conventional version must be DELIBERATELY IGNORED if it ever comes in conflict with the sacrosanct true beliefs of true believers.
