The Yanks surprised the world there. I was going to correct him yesterday, but he seems to make up things as he goes along. It matters little what the facts are. Seems it matters very little to many posters here. Soon the day will open and the old poll goat will scan the world for polls that indicate Kerry already has been president and Dubya never was. I have found it takes a full time engagement to correct even the incredibly incorrect. Not worth the time or effort, although it does seem necessary at times. The greatest misconception of democracy as represented on this board, is that it should be "mob rule". At least that is the end result of their desires, although likely not their wish. The issue of legitimate policy debate is often used as a guise to hamper active policy and weaken the active management of affair for political ends. Unfortunately it encourages the enemy of all good people and many suffer for the sake of mistaken "team" or party identification. Seems the bunker mentality rules and those that claim to be the most compassionate and ;) democratic, the most tolerant, are in the end the least tolerant, the least democratic and have no compassion. A soldier killed in a roadside bombing or ambush is little more than a statistic these idiots can toss about as evidence of failure. A political pawn of the miserable leftist. Of course with the claim that they care about him and his family. Yet, they claim to support these same people, whose lives and deaths they commit to failure only. When disgusting people like Ted kennedy get support for insane twisted remarks, one can only pray sanity prevails.
