Who knows?

Things like that become a mantra.
Around SI, I daresay there are 1000's
of posts alleging that the Iraq invasion
was all about oil.

I've yet to see any links or documentation
to show who's supposedly profiting in
Iraq by taking the oil. Sounds like
production had been halted and then
was reduced, and is only being really
started up again now. But I could be
wrong since I haven't followed that closely.

The point is that the mantra-invokers
just kept repeating it without any
real proof as well.

The moral of the story is that
people will believe what they want to believe.

No, I don't. I think it's a diversion to keep from talking about Kerry. Look at all the Kerry supporters, the only thing they talk about is the current administration and how bad it's doing everything. That's it. They have nothing else.
