I discussed them with you more than once & you continued to break them. This as a good example of specifically why you were temporarily "booted"..... I have no problems when folks express an opinion that is reality based & can be supported by widely accepted facts. I do have problems with opinions based on personal beliefs that aren't reality based or they cannot be supported by credible evidence. More importantly though is personal attacks are not welcome here. Everyone has their own definition of what a personal attack is. Since it's my thread, my standards apply. To me a personal attack can take several forms. One is name calling (you idiot - you are pathetic, etc). Another form of personal attack is to make baseless assertions ("Republicans have Bushwacked common decency and American values for their own benefit. You can't see it because you are part of the problem."). There is no credible evidence to support that opinion & that type of personal attack is not welcome on this thread. On the other hand, I have no problem with the appropriate use of labels when discussing another SI member. IOW, if someone has a propensity to lie, stating they are have lied is fair game as long as it is not done to attack the person. However, one must be able to credibly establish that someone lied with clear irrefutable facts. Believing it is true is not sufficient evidence. "You are a no good liar" won't float on this thread, but, "You have a habit of telling lies" backed up with clear evidence to support it is acceptable. I have said of some folks that they are unrepentant liars. That is pretty strong. When I have said this, I have been able to show a clear history of blatant lies replete with links to establish this was an accurate description of their behavior. I don't throw those words out lightly, but when I do, I know I can back it up factually. Those are the standards I hold for myself. This is my thread, so they are the standards I expect from those who post here. I hope you now understand better now.
