The above quote is an interesting accusation. It is, BTW, the same criticism that has been levied against the whole Bush administration as of late, that they don't listen to views that contradict their own assessment of things.

I agree with you that hate speech is too strong a term.

But the more interesting point to me is how much truth there is in that accusation.
