We had 2 calls tonight from 2 individuals who could barely speak English regarding mortgages..... The ESL problem with telemarketing is awful. I remember five years ago every time I got one it was ATT trying to switch my long distance.

Re our conversation yesterday about presidential religious bigotry, I ran across this quote today in my travels. I had forgotten about it. Ronald Reagan, August 23, 1984: "Without God, there is no virtue, because there's no prompting of the conscience. Without God, we're mired in the material, that flat world that tells us only what the senses perceive. Without God, there is a coarsening of the society.
