<<Bush has secret plan to slash veterans’ medical care by $1.9 billion over next two years: >>

No shit dip shit!! And a good thing too. Used to be a saying you could die in combat or in a VA hospital. Yep the costs will be cut, but the service will be better. And is now. Instead of going to a VA hospital the Vets are getting what they need at a full service hospital, closer, at a lower cost. I know cutting costs and making things better at the federal level upset you.

My biological grandfather is dying and getting crappy care from the VA. It's gotten much worse in the last year, FWIW. That's just an anecdote from one guy, but he will be dead soon- and thus save the government the very little money they are willing to spend on him. New Mexico VA- sucks big time.

Mr. Bush is giving shabby service to men who actually served their country in combat. Vets deserve much better than they are getting. Crap should not be the reward for serving your country in combat- not from citizens, and not from the government.
