Haqi, I have some especially poignant email and old posts from 2001 that I have not posted about you because I absolutely abhor using the past to hurt anyone. I have counseled many who are dealing with the past and helped them to work through Step four of the program of A.A. There are four of them that I have been especially involved in and they are: 4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. 6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. 7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings. 8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all. I honor and respect these things that has been shared with me by recovering alcoholics and would never reveal what someone has told me in confidence. Now it is obvious to me that you probably never worked these steps or were probably never in the program itself. The only reason I mention these old letters to me from people you know and posts about those incidents is to remind you that you and Rufff continue to post about Emile things that happened a long time ago in an effort to demean and label him and have said very cruel things that I believe never should have been brought up. One important thing. This has nothing to do with being in agreement or disagreement with Emile's philosophy of life. This has to do with one person egregiously harming any other person through defamation of character. Your claim of being a recovering alcoholic is very dubious to say the least or you would never deliberately use a person's past to harm them in a public forum. Sober alcoholics who work the program know that to harm another is to cause their selves harm because they are allowing resentment and fear to control them over their "Live and let live philosophy." I guess what I am saying is that if you two continue to treat me and others like crap by calling hateful names and to bring up old press that serves no purpose than to deliberately hurt people then I will feel justified in playing your game with your rules. Now, you can bring these arguments to an end by simply being a man and not acting like a heel. And by the way, I don't care how old you say your children were, what happened is pretty reprehensible even by your standards. James
