Not totally selfless. The Americans do on occasion ask for territory, when they fight for the freedom of other people. As you can see here: abmc.gov RE:"Hmmmmm.......are we really that selfless?" And a few facts: The United States was actively supporting the Allies BEFORE Pearl Harbor. The U.S. Navy was patrolling the Atlantic and fighting the German Navy before Hitler Declared War on the U.S.A. The United States was giving equipment to the Soviets, shortly after the Germans attacked them. After conquering Europe and the Soviets (if he could), Hitler would have gone into the Middle East. re: "Besides, Europe was on its knees.
