Why else would they argue it and win? This is an interesting exchange, and you seem to know more about it than the average poster here, who had no clue why Gore was allowed to proceed. How does the provision that Bush argued and won tie into to the statute you posted? Let me know if you know. After the Lakers kick Detroit's asses, that is.
