But, of course, to the anti-war folks, it's irrelevant that both France and Russia were desperate to undermine UNSC resolutions and sanctions against Saddam's regime in order to protect their own energy related interests.

Heck, you don't even see the French people or Russians willing to condemn such cynical policies by their respective governments.

Yet, here in the US we see an activist minority constantly trying to claim that this war is being fought on behalf of Exxon and Halliburton..

One thing I can admit is that the propaganda organ of those two countries is far more powerful than that of the Bush administration.
