Most of the elderly today worked when the federal tax was more evenly distributed. Most of these elderly paid some tax as worked during their careers. There are people alive now that are in their 20's that will never pay a dime of federal tax.

We can blame the politicans mostly. Their pandering to the less successful members of the work force and getting them off the tax rolls only reinforces their indifference.

The only thing that has grown faster then government is the pay that people in congress get.

>>So if you want to go after the freeloaders be my guest but they are the elderly who didn't pay for the huge amt of services and cash they are now collecting. This has been documented extensively in the right wing sites like heritage.org, go ahead and check it out.<<

Ha ha ha! Priceless! That is just so....female. Today the "right wing sites like heritage.org" are an authoritative source of information, while yesterday the wind was blowing from the opposite direction:
"oh please, don't pass off a right wing site to me and call it fact. There's another one even more insidious "heartland.org" with all kinds of "facts" <wink wink> like this too......Here is another right wing site for you to chew on (heritage foundation)"
siliconinvestor.com

Thanks for the chuckle.
