DJ, it's about property. Sure, the immigrants who make it officially through the challenges without fraud are great additions and it would be better to have them than the swarms of deadbeat criminal citizens who are polluting the population. But there are a LOT more. And even if they are good, they are being given $1million in assets without having to have paid anything. It's only because of the communist approach to national property that the value of citizenship isn't recognized. I think it's an insult to those who have gone before to ignore the value of their lives of work and hand it on to any miscreant who contrives to con their way in. New Zealand has become a society of bludgers. That word used to be common, but is now never heard. Bludgers were frowned on and despised. Bludging is now normal. I don't blame the bludgers for taking the easiest path. For many young women, a life as a state-funded breeder is the best they can hope to achieve for themselves. Sure, the quality control is rotten, but that's the rulz. Life on the dole is a doddle. Or the sickness benefit. Worse than that welfare stuff is the fact that about 60% of people are feeding from the state trough, doing jobs of little, no, or negative value. No wonder NZ has gone from one of the highest in GDP per person to somewhere way down the list, with crime having gone from almost none to rampant and vicious. Mqurice
