And what about Timothy McVeigh?

I'd say he is where he belongs.

You are mistaken on Weaver. His views weren't mine. He was a racial separatist, believed the races should live apart. He was trying to live that life on his mountaintop when BATF and the FBI decided to have a weenie roast and killed off 1/2 his family.

I suggest you might want to read Every Knee Shall Bow by Jess Walter for a good summary about what heppened to the Weaver family at the hands of Clinton's Department of Justice.

Walter, by the way, is no rightwing hack. His series on Ruby Ridge for the Spokesman-Review won him a Pulitzer nomination.

Timothy McVeigh, who murdered 168 in a one-time-atrocity, is dead. Al Qaeda, which has massacred thousands and still counting, even one more as of today, isn't. End of argument.
