Maybe he was ordered to lay down his weapons and refused.

Yeah. Right. His son was shot in back.

His wife was shot in the head as she held her baby.

Reno feds would never intentionally go after an innocent person

ROTFLMAO!!!!

Ruby Ridge, Waco, etc......

Maybe he was guilty of something nefarious. Maybe he was ordered to lay down his weapons and refused.

If the latter, then any fool knows you're asking for it. Lawmen don't take chances with freaks with high-powered weapons. They have a right to shoot to kill if some nut refuses to lay down his arms.

OMG you are ridiculous! Lon Horiuchi shot Vicky Weaver through the head while she was behind a door holding her baby. Randy Weaver is alive. Randy Weaver's child is dead because he was trying to shoot at an armed man who killed his dog. The man was unidentified. The FBI did not bother to identify themselves til the raid went to hell. They had no right, nor do they have the right, nor shall they ever be granted that right. You are innocent until proven guilty.

On one hand you decry the local drug dealer getting mowed down by city cops, then you suppor tthe FBI killing a family while they were on their own ground within their own house. Do you hear yourself?

Another classic by American Spirit: "One thing I can tell you, that the Reno feds would never intentionally go after an innocent person." - American Spirit, June 18, 2004 7:04 pm.

"...I hereby notify in writing the Special Division of the Court that I have commenced a preliminary investigation, 28 U.S.C 592(a)(1), into whether violations of federal criminal law were committed by Monica Lewinsky or any other individual, as described below. As a result of my inquiry into this matter, I request expansion of the jurisdiction of Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr to further investigate and determine whether prosecution is warranted. 28 U.S.C. 593(c)(1). The Court has already been informed of this matter and my request orally..." - Janet Reno

Do you know why the FBI was converging on Weavers home with that large assault team?

Because, after multiple requests, with Weaver refusing each time, an FBI undercover agent talked Weaver into modifying a shotgun for him. Weaver had declined several requests to do it, but finally agreed because he was offered several hundred dollars to cut the barrel of a shotgun and he was short on money! That's it. A few minutes with a hacksaw, clean up the burrs with a small file and get a couple hundred in his pocket.

And for that, an assault team headed for his home to "arrest" him.

Why is this rational?
