If you do that, you are asking for it. Any fool knows that. The problem with these wacky paranoid radicals is that they refuse to surrender. Also, they are heavily armed. So they are taking their lives in their hands.

Next time you get stopped by a cop you try resisting arrest and brandishing a weapon. See how long you last.
